I am writing a childrens book for grown ups

The title is still being drawn up, but it'll be something like, "The Free Lancers" or, "Dark Days, Dim Knights" I have already started the comic strip and will probably post it here soon. It's about a King Called, "GUFBIDE" (pronounced Goofbite) who is a bi pedal humanoid made from asparagus, Bananas and pineapples. I will give an excerpt from the story so far.

Gufbide is hated for being stupid and bossy, though the kingdom he rules, "TartoFropica" is none any smarter. One day Gufbide explains to his closest wizard, (who also hates gufbide, everyone does) "I am so sad BarthMagon", which was the wizards Hebrew name, the king wasn't speaking gibberish, he's not that dumb, however there were some in the kingdom of TartoFropica that were... Anyway, Barthmagon replied sarcastically but loyally, "I hate being a banana your highness but what am i supposed to do about that?" And at that moment Barthmagons body made a sort of, "POP" sound and had transformed into a twelve string guitar. Naturally the king was surprised by the event and quickly became contemplative.

So this is just the first few lines from the setup for a story that has to do with the king a little but will really focus on four Peasants who are Fed up with with their position in society which is "Class 01 digger". Their job is to dig fields and remove, repair and return any uncovered coffeemakers. After their setup they eventually become self proclaimed knights, abandon their families and travel the land...ok i seriously cant concentrate right now because right below me in the basement i can clearly hear Annie and Dustin, "Goin at it" ummm, TO BE CONTINUED!
